How an adorable puppy dog finds the key to a little boy's heart.

"In memory of Piccadilly, my first Cavalier, who besides capturing my heart, led me into the world of dogs, and inspired me to become a sculptor as well as an author or children's books. Until now, he was the most titled Cavalier in the history of the breed with titles in both conformation championship and obedience. Now Corneel, the subject of this book, has tied Piccadilly's record with titles in conformation championships worldwide, obedience and agility." - Janet York, author and AKC Museum of the Dog board member

"Corneel at the Plaza" centers on the adventure of international show champion Corneel. A mischievous, precocious Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Corneel is enjoying an idyllic life on a Virginia farm when he is suddenly kidnapped and transported to New York City.

Being extremely intelligent, after escaping from his kidnappers, Corneel finds his way to the genteel and welcoming Plaza Hotel. There, he befriends a lonely little boy, Timothy, who rescues Corneel from the harsh weather and abusive kidnapper. Together they encounter a colorful cast of characters ranging from villains to celebrities and embark on a series of hair-raising adventures throughout the city. There are conflicts, tears, separations, and lots of laughter. Ultimately, the power of kindness endures and the true meaning of friendship and love is revealed. As a result of his deeds, Corneel is awarded the title "Young Plaza Ambassador".

This is the second book in the Corneel series. The first "Corneel the Cavalier" was published in 2000 and is available through Petpourri Publishers.
